Two male friends from Philadelphia wanted to beat a record for the most messages sent monthly. Nick Andes, 29, and Doug Klinger, 30, definetely beath the record, with an impressive 182,000 messages sent. The month before, February, the friends found out that they could text, on some days, 7,000 texts. Andes and Klinger decided to start the texting the next month. Because of their insane texting, Andes ’s wife couldn’t reach him on the phone. Many of the texts sent were as simple as, “Hello” and “LOL.” Surprisingly, both men had unlimited texting, and yet still received a huge bill from T-Mobile. Although they did go over the record that was found on the internet, representatives from the Guiness Records are still verifying if they beat the world record.
I don’t understand why T-Mobile sent such an extreme bill to these men if they both had unlimited accounts. Also, these friends have a lot of free time to actually try to beat texting records, which is unbelievable since one has a girl friend. I'm guessing that the two men are extremely hoping to win the record(Guiness) so that they could pay the bill.
